Chef de Cuisine
Raised by a family of food lovers, Nitesh Rohra grew up watching his mother and grandmother work their culinary magic in the kitchen. Nitesh spent his early childhood in Dubai, but later moved to Mumbai, where he pursued a degree in hospitality management from India’s Institute of Hotel Management. While in school, Nitesh gained valuable cooking experience through an internship at the Hyatt Regent. After graduation, Nitesh spent two years at The Park Hyderabad, routinely grinding out long days in the kitchen.
Drawn to Fanshawe College’s Artisanal Culinary Arts program, Nitesh made the decision to move to Canada in 2012. An outstanding student, Nitesh was quickly recognized for his hard work and raw talent. In addition to maintaining honour roll status, he won various awards and distinctions both on and off-campus.
Post graduation, Nitesh landed on the Toronto culinary scene. He served as Chef de Partie at the upscale Aria Ristorante, before accepting a Sous Chef position at the newly opened Nuit Social. In 2015, Nitesh joined the Oliver & Bonacini restaurant family as a Sous Chef at O&B Oakville. Now, he is excited to bring his lifelong passion for food and cooking to his role as Chef de Cuisine.
